In the spirit of this emphasis for community events, we would
like to
invite
all residents to stop by to meet the members of your new
management company, Circle C Properties , from 7pm to 9pm
on Saturday July 12th. Enjoy the music, food,
refreshments and great conversations with your neighbors in
the courtyard. In case of bad weather, the event will be
moved to Unit
#201.
Circle C Properties began Management on May 1st and
the transition so far has been virtually seamless. All the
contact information you'll need can be found on the contact
page on this site and will keep you informed of any thing that
concerns your living at City Gates. Call Dave at
972-578-8462 ext 6 or e-mail
hoacare@circlec.com
with any questions or visit the
contact page for any other contact needs.
The hot weather
is creeping in
and AC units are going to be in full force soon. It is
important especially during the summer months to change your
air filter regularly. If you have pets of any kind [except
fish] they should be changed monthly. If you do not have
animals you should change them at least every 60 days. Don't
waste your money on the expensive filters as sometimes they
are just as bad as having a dirty filter. When you purchase
filters look for ones that have a looser pleat- the more
expensive filters have a very tight pleating and restricts
air flow. By changing your filters regularly you are saving
on energy cost and also the possibility from your unit
freezing up.
Dryer lint traps...
you probably clean your lint trap with every load of
laundry, or you should. However, dryer sheets cause a film
over your filter which cannot be seen. The build up of this
film is the main cause for dryer fires & or burning out your
heating element in your dryer. Here is a way to test to see
if you have a build up on your dryer lint filter.
Remove the filter from your dryer. Take the filter to your
sink and run hot water over it. If the water sits on top of
the filter this means your lint trap is clogged and your
dryer heating element is working harder. You can easily
remove this film by cleaning it with hot soapy water and a
soft toothbrush. This should be done at least every six
months. |

Paying your dues is as simple as it always has been. There
is a box on the property and a box at Franconia Realty, or they will be processed
by mailing them where you have been mailing them for now.
You will be informed of any other options when they are
implemented. |
